The Journey Across Canada

About

I had the incredible opportunity to travel across Canada, from coast to coast by car! It was a five-day journey, with stops in every province, exploring a variety of cities along the way. We began our adventure in Vancouver, with Quebec City as our final destination.

This is our travel map

As you can tell, our route to Quebec was packed with cities, so I'm excited to share short descriptions of the experiences from all the stops we made along the way (excluding Vancouver.)

01. Kamloops

Kamloops is an awesome spot in British Columbia, Canada, where two big rivers, the North and South Thompson, meet up. It's amazing if you're into doing cool stuff outdoors like biking, hiking, (or snowboarding when it's winter.) But that's not all. in the city, there's lots of famous cultural art and music. Live bands are playing in certain galleries as well. It's a great place if you are into adventures.

02. Calgary

When we got to Calgary, it kind of felt like Vancouver. Calgary seemed super modern, with downtown having lots to check out. But, maybe the uptown spots were a bit quieter, which might be cool for some people. Overall, the city gave off Vancouver vibes, just smaller, and the people seemed more down-to-earth. They were more about keeping to themselves, which can be pretty nice sometimes.

03. Moose Jaw

I don't remember too much about this town, but I do remember saying to myself that it was a nice and quiet city, with not too much chaos going on. We went to a little cafe there and it was nice and peaceful. Not too much else to say about this place.

03. Regina

Get ready for a VERY honest opinion. I'm sorry, but this had to be the worst city that I had visited probably in MY LIFE. There was ABSOLUTLEY nothing going on! When we first entered it, we thought it was because we were at the beginning of the city. Once we got smack in the middle, it felt like a ghost town! We were coming from Moose Jaw a couple hours back, so we decided to visit a restaurant, to see if there was anybody in there at least and luckily there was. There was around 10 people in the restaurant, which was more than we saw in the whole city, and to be fair, the food wasn't bad, but I give this city a rating of 3/10.
